Skin, the largest organ of human body, is made
up of 7 layers. New cells formed in the deepest layer called dermis
get pushed to the uppermost layer called epidermis, which is visible
to us. The greatest foe of a beautiful skin is age. A process called
KERATINISATION takes place in our body whereby new cells are
pushed up from the inner layers to the outer layer of the skin and
old cells are thrown off. In our youth this process takes around 15
days but as we grow older this process slows down resulting in the
